The Consultation

Several appointments will be booked depending on the treatment plan from start to finish for placing the implant.

The Integration Period

There is a waiting period of about 3 and 5 months for the implant and the bone to knit together. This is called the Integration period. During this time any gap that you have in your mouth will have a temporary bridge or a denture to fill the space if required.

Aftercare

Dental implant aftercare is extremely important. You will need to brush and floss your new teeth just as you do your natural teeth. We advise you see your hygienist every 4 to 6 months and they will demonstrate appropriate cleaning techniques.
